Course objective:
This qualification addresses work in the community and/or residential facilities under direct or regular supervision within clearly defined organisational guidelines and service plans. These workers:
- carry out activites to maintain personal care and/or other activities of living for people with a disability
- carry out activities related to an individualised plan
- report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers
Certificate IV Health Supervision
Duration:
Nominal term: 24 months
Course objective:
This qualification covers workers in the role of a supervisor or senior workplace trainer in a functional or operational unit/service in a health care setting providing health support services, health technical services, services, health care servcixes, health professional support services and health administration services.
Occupational titles include Supervisor and Assistant Manager.
Certificate IV Health Administration
Duration:
Nominal term: 24 months
Course objective:
This qualification covers workers who provide administrative functions in health services where the worker in required to work autonomously or as a senior member of staff in an administrative team.
