Who will find a facility for me to complete my work placement ?

To organise your work placement contact our work placement coordinator on 0469 184 977.

There are 3 options for completing your work placement

Organised by Capital Careers

Capital Careers can organise your work placement for you. Our work placement coordinator will make all attempts to place you in a facility on our list as close to your home or our campus as possible. The work placement coordinator will ensure that all of the documentation that you have provided us is given to the facility you will be attending prior to your commencement.

Self-Placement

In some cases, you may prefer to organise your own work placement. If this is the case you should make initial contact with our work placement coordinator first to find out if there are any special requirements for the type of facility you are required to complete your work placement at as part of your qualification. Once you have made contact with the facility and locked in your work placement with them, contact our work placement coordinator with the following details:

  • Name of the facility
  • Contact number
  • Contact email address
  • Contact person / supervisor
  • The start and end dates of your placement
  • The hours you will be working

The placement coordinator then oversees the process similar to when Capital Careers has organised your placement.

Already working in the industry

If you are already directly employed  in a role that is equal to the qualification level you are studying you can be assessed by our staff to see if a work placement is necessary.

Please bring in current pay slips totaling 160 hours and your job description and one of our staff members will assess whether this is an option available to you.

When do you run First Aid and Manual Handling classes?

We run FA and MH every fortnight, please contact us for dates.
