This is the beginning of October!
We had 5 interesting topics covered in different batches this week.
Infection control was one of the major topics that the students enjoyed and could definitely relate with the COVID precautions already in place everywhere.
The students specialising in disability support learnt more about person centered services.
We welcomed October by being aware of the importance,advantages and methods of supporting the relationship between carers and families.
Work Health and Safety was another major topic covered and the practicals of manual handling related to this topic was done by one batch on Saturday.
We finished this week with learning about providing individual support for those specialising in ageing support.
